You can simplify the process of intentional living by reminding yourself that there are two ways in which to experience your life. You can either experience a life fueled and driven by force and pressure, or you can experience a life that is mobilized by alignment and flow. Forced action and inspired action both involve taking action, but they have completely different energies. Forced action requires you to move through life by applying a dense current of energy to try and move things into being how you want them to be.
All of the states you experience psychologically and emotionally are anchored and reflected in your physical body. You have a physiology of expansion, and you have a physiology of limitation. Knowing what your specific physiology to the states of limitations you experience is a vital part of self-awareness and self-evolution. When you experience any state, a question to ask yourself is: how am I creating and holding this state in my body, in my muscles, in my posture?
There are a number of factors that can momentarily interrupt your creative flow. One of your tasks as a deliberate creator is to prepare tools and strategies that allow you to get back on the track of your flow, strategies that allow you to resume, reconnect, and re-establish connection and alignment to your expanded self.
When you are in your balanced flow of energy and power, you know you matter fully and completely just as you are. You unquestioningly and firmly know that your needs, wants, and desires all matter as much as anyone else’s – no excuses, no justifications, no delays, no qualifications, no explanations – you matter in every way just for existing and being this unique being that you are. When you are in your power, there is no amount of belittlement or dismissal from others that will sway or deter you from knowing the magnificence of your being. When you are in your power, you wholeheartedly know that your value, your worth, your importance is equal to everyone else’s on this planet.
For everything showing up meaningfully in your reality, taking full ownership of how it’s you who is making it matter moment after moment is a key part of stepping into your full power. It’s you who makes something matter when you think about it, talk about it, replay it in your mind over and over, and bring it up at every opportunity. You are the meaning maker. What you give attention to, what you focus on, what you create individual and shared awareness around is what becomes a meaningful experience in your reality. If it’s meaningful, it’s because you’ve made it that way.
