At the crux of all sense of lack or incompletion in your reality rests the well-practiced activity of self-fragmentation. Self-fragmentation occurs when consciousness creates boundaries around specific aspects of self so that these aspects are blocked off or disowned. Through interactions with others and your environment, you hide, restrict, or constrict aspects of yourself for one reason or another.
Emotional self-validation is an essential practice on the path of deliberate creation. Part of emotional maturity, a necessary milestone in your ability to call forth whatever you desire to experience and experience it, is knowing how valid your emotional reality is, is knowing and accepting yourself as an emotional being – this requires both a higher level of awareness and a higher level of self-acceptance, a willingness to acknowledge and accept the gamut of emotional realities that swirl and curl within the layers of your being.
How do you appraise yourself in your life? What is your sense of value and worth right now in all aspects of your experience – in your relationships, in your career, in your creativity? What is that sense based on? Are you valuable and worthy just as you are? Do you matter just as you are? Or do you need to be something else, achieve more, generate more, do more, be "better than" to feel like you have value and worth in life, in the world?
One of the more critical explorations of your psychological evolution is your relationship to value and worth.
For every pattern you recognize within yourself, understanding how that pattern enhances or diminishes your creative power, your flow of energy through the layers of your being, is very useful. Codependency is a way of being in the world, in your relationship to others, to yourself, and in your relationship to the situations of your experience that has significant impact on your energy flow, on how you direct the life pulse of your creative being to manifest your personal reality.
The healing power of presence awareness is accessible to you at any given point in time. Presence, the quiet state of simply being here in this moment always brings with it a cleansing flow of energy. Where mind creates stories, motion, narratives, and projections, presence-awareness stills all mental movement bringing about a state of clarity, ease, and a sense of freedom.
