Traditional thinking based in a linear cause-effect model of reality makes it seem as though quantum leaps are rare and effort-filled experiences, or even impossible and unlikely occurrences. However, if you take a look at what a quantum leap actually implies, you will recognize that you, as the Observer in your Observer-created reality, are making such leaps anytime you change your angle of observation.

When you shift your perspective in any given instant, you are actually leaping into a new orbit of observation, a new angle of looking at reality. Such a shift is a virtual leap in your conscious awareness – there is no logical explanation or trajectory to the shift you make if you pay attention. You don't say to yourself "I'm going to see things this way right now and then later I'll see them in this other way". In one instant you are looking at reality from a certain perspective, and in another you have totally shifted into a different way of looking at your reality. Such changes bring a total transformation to the realities you experience, as though you are in a new reality altogether. You think differently, you have different feelings, and you can't for the life of you go back to the "old" way of seeing.
To get deeper into this, think of reality as being a field of Infinite Perspectives – this is just re-framing the idea that you exist in a quantum soup of infinite potentials, infinite possibilities that become actualities through the act of your observation. You have your being in an ocean of Infinite Perspectives that become embodied outlooks through the act of your assuming these perspectives. Infinite Possibilities and Infinite Perspectives are pointing you to the buffet of options you always have in the way you observer, organize, and actualize your experiences.
You can assume any perspective, any angle of observation, just as you can actualize any potential or any possibility from the Field.
To make this practical, take any pattern you would like to experience differently. Jot it down for yourself so you can pull it out of your mind and onto a page in front of you (use paper or create a doc on your computer). This will make it easier to interact with the pattern or subject you want to focus on.
Now pay attention to the sounds, images, sensations, thoughts, emotions, responses, beliefs associated with your perspective on this pattern. To capture this, simply ask yourself: what are my thoughts on this? What are my emotions on this? What have my responses been on this? What images do I make in my mind around this? Write those down as well.
You’re simply mapping out the current content you've created around the pattern. This will tell you the ways in which you have taken assumption of or possession of an outlook, an angle of observation, as it relates to this outcome. Now generate the awareness for yourself that this angle of observation you’ve taken on (remember, you are the observer in your observer-created reality) is one of an infinite many that you could have assumed.
Now let’s move forward, lets ignite that quantum leap in your conscious awareness.
What would you like to see, notice, and experience instead where this pattern is concerned?
If this alternative (and simultaneously available) reality was already happening: what would you hear? What would you see? What would you feel, touch? What would you speak/say? What would you write? What thoughts would you be thinking?
Take a trip through your portal of imagination to assume these different angles, to embody that new perspective that co-exists with the one you were inside of up until you began this exercise. Pop into these angles and let yourself simply feel the new feelings, think the new thoughts, and develop a clear awareness around these alternative points of focus.
The perspective you had before playing with this was made up of a bunch of different images, sensations, and sounds that you had accumulated on the subject. So the new/other perspective you want to embody or have now interfaced with is also made up of (a different resonance of) images, sensations, and sounds. They’re both perspectives, they’re both ways of looking at and interacting with the subject.
You can create even more awareness noticing that the thoughts, images, feelings you had around the subject are now "old" thoughts, feelings, and images. i.e. "these thoughts arising (about me, about others) are part of the old perspective" - just create that recognition and see where it takes you. Recognize that they are what you used to think and feel around the subject. Ask and notice: "If I were to notice that these thoughts about myself/others/this situation are part of the old/other perspective, what changes?"
This will get your conscious awareness lifting off of those points of observation it was once fused with.
To structure this more, this is the sequence (one of many internal recipes you can create) for popping into a new perspective:
1) What's my old perspective on this subject, what did I used to believe about this (map it out, write it out)?
2) What's my new perspective on this subject, what do I believe now? (Again, map it out, write it out in as much detail as you can about how it makes you feel, what you notice, what you see yourself doing etc)
3) Revisit both the old and new perspective so that you establish the old and new distinctions for yourself – the “new” angle of focus or the new orbit for your conscious awareness will become your new standard of perception as it relates to this outcome.
You’ve probably already noticed that awareness itself is the juice you need to make a leap in how you’re consciously making sense of whatever is around you, to create that shift in your perspective. That ability to bring awareness into any beam of observation gives you the energy and momentum you need to jump into a new orbit of focus. It’s great isn’t it?!
Use this sequence of flow anytime you want to shift. It’s really this easy to bring about total change to the quality of your moments. Notice how you're noticing reality, and then choose to notice it differently if your current way of plugging in isn't working for you.
