You can simplify the process of intentional living by reminding yourself that there are two ways in which to experience your life. You can either experience a life fueled and driven by force and pressure, or you can experience a life that is mobilized by alignment and flow. Forced action and inspired action both involve taking action, but they have completely different energies. Forced action requires you to move through life by applying a dense current of energy to try and move things into being how you want them to be.
This is the psychological realm of manufactured control and trying to manipulate matter to behave how you want it to behave. The more you reside in the lower spectrum of energies, of fear and frustration, the more you psychologically orient yourself to move through your world in this way. Pushing and pulling through your life, through your moments, indicate that there is a psychological and emotional imbalance within you that is having you lean toward exerting unnecessary pressure and effort.
Inspired action is a totally different flow of energy and information through your being. Inspired action comes fully loaded with all the energy you need to express that action. When you are residing in the energy spectrum's of love, understanding, wisdom, and peace, your life’s events have a way of naturally aligning and coming together through synchronicity. This is what flow looks like – a landscape of coincidental coming together, or what in Buddhist language is called dependent arising. Flow feels like love, enjoyment, ease, and alignment. You are your most powerful in these states.
If you like experiencing and creating a life of ease and enjoyment, then your work is to continually bring yourself back up on the energy spectrum so that you are psychologically and emotionally making love, understanding, wisdom, and peace your home base. The default current of thinking in your mind can be habituated to become one that is perpetually positive while being grounded in the what is-ness of your moments. You are the meaning maker of your experience. You are the builder of your thought patterns, so you want to exercise your power to author a mental narrative that takes you into positive states.
Daily bring yourself to practice gratitude and focus on what’s going right, who is being an incredible support, what’s showing up to bless you. Daily clear away the mental currents of the ego-mind that is generating any kind of victim narrative. Daily take your power to author your mental currents back into your hand so that you are actively navigating yourself into states that are supportive and receptive to a synchronistic life of ease. This is in your power.
